We invite you to
‘Discover the Difference
and Understand the Importance’
by visiting our Discovery Centre
There is so much to do in Mulu, so spend a few
minutes when you arrive in the first room to plan your visit.
Information panels outline the full range of activities and
give a brief over view of Mulu as a World Heritage Area and
the protected areas of Sarawak. There is even a diorama of the
Park so that you can easily see the full scale Mulu and where
your adventure will take you.
When you need time out and are looking for a
quieter activity visit the other 3 rooms in the Centre. Explore
the geology and bio-diversity of the park reading the information
panels and watching a number of documentaries on Mulu, in particular
‘Bats of the World’.
For the more curious who want to explore a favourite
interest the Centre’s resource library has a range of
books on Karst, Geology, Biology, Botany, Ecology and even some
suitable for children. There are also a number of computer presentations
available including, orchids, butterflies, cave exploration,
dragonflies and many more.
So relax and enjoy your visit to this amazing
place but also take some time out to learn why Mulu is one of
the
